Let's hear it for the brands!

I love finding out about vegan brands that I've never heard about before and shouting about the good work they're doing - but sometimes it's good to talk about the good things being done by the brands we already know about. Often when big fashion houses put out a collection focussing on ethical or sustainable practices, they come under fire for some reason or another. I personally think that if more people supported these projects, the companies would be more inclined to make more positive and progressive changes to the sourcing and production of their garments. Supporting your favourite brand is great - and even better when they're trying to achieve something positive through a new campaign - I thought I'd gather up some of my favourite projects from brands you will have probably already heard of...

 

H+M launched their Conscious collection in 2012 highlighting all products made out of sustainable raw materials and are labeled with a green tag that informs you about the product´s added sustainability value.

Caroline Constas 'Causes Collection' donates 15% of the proceeds to charities who are fighting global warming. All praise to the woman who can pull off Green Gingham though!

Even A$AP Ferg is doing his bit - his Traplord X Uniform collaboration is ethically produced in Africa, and for each item sold, a school uniform is produced and given to a local child. Conscious clothing for the modern day streetwear enthusiast...

ASOS (a.k.a love of my life) have an Eco Edit where they've grouped together all the items sold on the site that fit their criteria for sustainability, including clothes, accessories + beauty products
